Headmaster’s Welcome

As the Headteacher of Rodmarton Primary School, I would like to offer you a warm welcome and thank you for visiting our website. Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, happy, caring family atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to achieve their academic potential and nurture a love of learning.

We benefit from the beautiful country environment surrounding the school and use it to take learning outside the classroom with trained Forest School Leaders teaching in our woodland Forest School.

We have a hardworking and dedicated staff team who work tirelessly to teach a broad and rich curriculum that appeals to the children’s unique personalities, talents and interests. Staff develop children with lively enquiring minds, the ability to question and argue rationally, motivate themselves and become effective independent learners. We aim to nurture skills and talents to enable every individual to flourish and make a positive difference as active citizens in today’s modern, multicultural world.

We are a close-knit and caring community that has a sense of family. We understand the importance of a close partnership between home and school to achieve the best for our pupils and prepare them to succeed in their next stage in learning.

We hope you find the information here useful. However, the best way to get a feel for Rodmarton is to come and visit. Please call or email our office to book an appointment to look around; we will be delighted to welcome you.
