Gloucestershire Young Photographer Competition 2024

1st Prize in the Best Primary School Entry:
‘Leap of Faith’ by Charlie Norrie

Judge’s Choice: ‘Meadow at Dusk’ by Hector Duncombe

We are thrilled to announce that two Yr 6 pupils, Charlie Norrie and Hector Duncombe, won top awards at the Gloucestershire Young Photographer Competition 2024 ceremony last night. Charlie won 1st Prize in the Best Primary School Entry with his photograph ‘Leap of Faith’, and Hector won the Judge’s Choice for the second year running with his image ‘Meadow at Dusk’. We were also delighted that 11 other entries from the school were showcased on the night with the school winning runner up in the Best Primary School category.

This was no mean feat as the competition was fierce: over 59 Gloucestershire primary and secondary schools entered with a total of 838 photos to compete against. We hope to enter again next year, so get snapping!
