At Rodmarton, we are dedicated to providing many opportunities to enhance our excellent curriculum. With the outstanding support of The Friends of Rodmarton, each class has trips funded to ensure all our children get to take part in memorable day trips, visits to performances, unforgettable residential stays, and hosting visiting guests.

Our Forest School, after-school activity clubs, performing arts offer, and sporting opportunities further enhance these. These activities provide students with extended learning opportunities and challenges that go beyond the regular classroom routine.

Through enrichment, students develop self-awareness and often gain a better understanding of their classroom learning. Enrichment activities promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improve concentration, and make learning more meaningful, valuable, and rewarding. They make memories for life.

RHS School Gardening Awards Level 2

The school is delighted to have been awarded the RHS School Gardening Award Level 2 under Mrs Hendry’s guidance. This award focuses on supporting pupil wellbeing and developing new gardening skills. The children will be working toward Level 3, expanding the flower and vegetable beds and learning the art of composting.
